Bible Survey Class
John Turner teaches a Bible Survey Class which gives you the big picture of how God reveals who He is and what His purpose is for human life and all creation, from Genesis through Revelation. The class meets monthly at the Christview Ministries Center. You can choose whether to come on the first Tuesday morning of the month, or the Saturday following the first Tuesday, whichever fits your schedule. Classes meet from 9:00 to noon. All materials will be provided. Just bring your Bible and be ready to receive more than you ever imagined from a Bible study! Whether you know very little about the Bible, or have studied for years, life-changing discoveries await you. A donation of $15.00 per person per session per session is suggested, and entirely voluntary.
Survey of the New Testament is underway in 2015. Click here for more info.
John also works with individuals, couples, or small groups in exploring your questions about the Bible, or particular topics or books of the Bible you want to study. Perhaps you don’t learn best in a group setting and would make more progress working one on one with a knowledgeable person you could dialogue with. Perhaps your schedule makes it difficult to participate in group Bible studies. John will work with you in finding times for sessions that will work for you. Perhaps you are called to a particular ministry and want to prepare through Bible study. John will individualize a study to help equip you. Individualized sessions are scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. A suggested donation of $40.00 per hour is voluntary. (We understand that not all people we serve will be able to make suggested donations, and that some people will be able to donate more than the suggested amount.)

Quotes from students:
“John Turner is the real thing! Having sat alongside him as some new thematic insight has become crystal clear to him, and having witnessed the excitement and pure joy that brought to him, I can attest that this is no ordinary Bible scholar. Scholarly, yes, but focused on opening new depths of relationship with the living God.” --Vivian Potee
“John Turner acknowledges that some may call him an amateur Bible scholar. He accepts the term if it is understood to mean, ‘for the love of it,’ for he says, ‘I truly and intensely love the Scriptures.’ That’s the type of scholar I want to guide me through the Bible.”--Bob Thomas
“John Turner is a godly man teaching a God subject. If you don’t learn the Bible from John, you aren’t paying attention. I’ve learned more from a John Turner Bible study than in four years of studying the Bible in college.” --Bob Goodwin
Now is an excellent time for new Bible students as John Turner begins “A Survey of the New Testament”! You can attend the first Tuesday or the following Saturday of each month, 9:00 AM to Noon, either day. We plan to cover the entire New Testament in about 24 months. To both continuing and beginning students, John says, “If you participate fully in this study, all the way through the New Testament, I believe that you will:

Living the Full Bible takes a fresh approach to lay out an orderly, readable, and productive tour of the Bible. Readers’ understandings are built, layer upon layer, until they have a strong foundation for their views of who God is, who we are (and who we may become), what our God-given mission is, and how our community of faith can help prepare us for our mission.
